HANZ OONZ is a DJ, producer and engineer with more than 20 years of experience working in the music industry. His two primary fields of performance are Electronic music such as Techno and House, and Hip-Hop music that is both commercial and independently produced.

 

He has worked with Artists such as Fortunato, Robbie G, Mackie, K.U.S.H., JRDN, IYARI, Real Eyez, Jae Thxmpsxn, J Bru, Cronic, Rude Dowg, Knucklehead and has opened for Tech N9Ne, Afroman, Prada West, Terminology, Snak The Ripper and more.

He currently holds two residencies in Nova Scotia. One is at Johnny Patch's Pub in Yarmouth, where he has a monthly double-header of All-Request and Dance Night parties. The Second is a twice monthly Saturday Night residency at INDULGE Nightclub in Halifax, which welcomes the LGBTQ communities and hosts weekly Drag performances.

 

As an EDM DJ he spins Minimal Techno, Progressive House and Future House and continues to perform at music festivals such as Zenergy Electronic Music Festival and Electric Pines.

 

In 2022 He was nominated for a Nova Scotia Music Award for DJ Of The Year, alongside legendary DJs Troy Power, Karate Kactus, Cloverdale and Pineo & Loeb

HANZ OONZ hosts "House Of Hanz", a weekly EDM-focused live to air stream radio show on BNB London Radio, which is based out of London, UK and broadcasts to subscribers worldwide.

The show has been running for more than a year, gaining followers each week. It is now more than 50K Weekly listeners in over 8 countries!

He also hosts a weekly FM-based community radio show in Halifax called "The HANZ Show" on CKDU-FM 88.1 that features interviews with local Halifax DJs and musicians as well as featured music from their latest releases. It welcomes musicians from all genres of music, including Indie, Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop and Electronic Dance Music.
